Meet the Webmaster!

Hey, My name is Velvet, but you knew that already. I'm a 30 year old Lakota Native living with my wife and our three cats (Frankie, Shrimp, and Oliver) all of whom I love dearly. Growing up I quickly became an animal lover as my family (and I by proxy) rescued exotic animals and abandoned pets. It wasn't unsual for me to be handling exotic lizards, snakes, and frogs; or even caring for tarantulas and squirrels. As a result I learned a good deal about how to care for and treat wounded animals. This lead to a generally altruistic lifestyle, getting involved in any and all volunteer work I could manage; especially if it directly benefitted animals or individuals who needed help.

Later in my life I attended schools for engineering and computer science, as I've always had a fascination with anything digital. From video games to websites and the internet, if it existed within a digital format there was a very good chance I had an interest in it. As you can imagine growing up in a Native household with an interest in new age tech and digital media. My interests were at odds with the hobbies my family would have preferred me to have. Though it just meant when I wasn't out hiking or camping, I was often at my computer engaging with the internet in some form. I find value in both but unfortunately as I've gotten older and had to work some more physical jobs, I've become a tad too disabled to enjoy more physical activies. The result of which has brought me to where I am today, while I may not be healthy and able bodied enough to work a job or go hiking through the mountains anymore; I do my best to earn what I can through streaming and VR helps me at least feel like I'm out there stretching my legs a bit.

Since I know anyone checking this part of the website is likely curious about me, I'll go ahead and talk about myself a bit; but first I want to show you what really matters; which is my cats, as usual please feel free to right click -> open in new tab to properly view this image at it's full scale:
